New sports hall

Grove Junior School in Rayleigh had out-grown their old school hall and Munday & Cramer were awarded the contract to design and project manage the development of a new hall. Its main use is for general assembly and gymnastics, and includes new changing rooms, toilets, store room and small office.

Budgeted at £340,000, the new hall comfortably accommodates 200 pupils and through careful specification of materials represents excellent value for money. The building is highly functional as well as incorporating an exposed internal frame structure which provides an appealing feature of the overall design.
